New mower in our future?

Moving into our new house was great, and it came with an awesome yard which we enjoy on a daily basis; BUT this yard also comes with a lot more time and energy needed for the upkeep. It takes James forever to mow so lately we have been looking at riding lawn mowers as a possibility. Today James' mom and Bruce came over to let James try their's in our yard. The kids LOVED it!

A few pics from our vacation

We are spending a little over a week in WHITEHALL. James' dad and Marianne are in Europe, for her daughter, Liz's, wedding and touring a few countries, so we are taking care of Scout (their golden retriever) and staying up north. It has been great...it really seems like summer now. Despite some storms (which have actually been really cool at night to watch, and we didn't have to deal with any flooding) the weather has been great, and the kids are loving it.

Sierra update...

Sierra is talking us all up a wall. She repeats every word we say to her and is now starting to try and repeat phrases. She is fun to listen to, especially 'cause Simon talked so much later...it's amazing to hear some of the words come out of her mouth. Her favorite word right now is "pupp" and pretty much anything that moves outside she thinks IS a puppy, excepts for birds which are "bis" to her : ). She is also starting to learn animal sounds. She knows horse, cow, puppy, and sheep right now! AND she also is learning her body parts, nose, ear, hair, belly.......
