Simon went back to prime care today. He has another ear infection and PINK EYE! Poor little bug. He was whipped today. Hopefully he starts to feel better as we get some medicine in him. Pray that he recovers and our whole family is healthy soon.

Snow for Dinner...

Simon didn't eat much dinner last night, BUT decided he wanted to eat ONLY snow! How does he come up with these ideas... and a sweet little pic of our little princess : )

Sierra's One Year Dr. Appt.

Sierra went in today for her one year appointment (even though she is 13 months, we got a little behind right away). Everything looked good, except she didn't gain much weight so in 3 months she has to go back and see how much she gained. She weighed 18 lbs. and 11 oz. which is in approximately the 10th percentile and was about 29 inches tall which is in the 30th percentile. The funny part was her head circumfrence which was in about the 70th percentile. NICE!

We're Home...

We had a fun time in Chicago. It was relaxing and fun. We saw "Wicked" and LOVED it and went to the Shedd Aquarium. We also did a little shopping, and lot of eating, and just hung out. We forgot a camera so no pics unfortunately, but I do have a few pics of the kids having fun at Grandma and Grandpa DeVries' house.

James and I leave for a long weekend in Chicago tonight. We are excited to get away for a little bit : ) Sierra, however, just went to prime care this morning. She has had a lot of trouble sleeping and has a terrible cold and cough. AND now we found out she has a double ear infection. Good luck to my mom and dad taking care of two kids with ear infections and taking medicine : )

Who taught her to do this???

She has been so proud of herself lately for being able to climb up, into, and on things. She loves to sit in the basket of books in our living room, climb up on the couch to catch Simon, and would practice going up and down stairs all day long if I let her, BUT today this was a new one. She got it in her head that she wanted to play INSIDE this DRAWER and that was that!

Family Update...

Well, it has been quite a while since I last posted. I guess we have been really really busy. Ihad a birthday (29) not quite 30 yet, thank goodness. I have also been really busy with Petunias stuff. Etsy is going great and I'm trying new things all the time which I LOVE> Simon is doing well. He is really starting to put together phrases and sentences and that is fun. He is sick right now though as well. He had so weird breathing when he woke up from his nap on Wednesday night so James took him to the med center and we found out he had an ear infection. So we got amoxicillian in the liquid form. He has always loved taking medecine but for some reason this time decided he wasn't going to do it. So after much spitting, mixing with OJ and ice cream, I finally called our dr's office and asked if it came in a chewable. So now we are hiding it in a pack of smarties : ) and hopefully he starts feeling better. Sierra is also very well. She isn't officially walking yet, but has taken a few steps here and there and I'm sure she will be walking on her own soon enough. She is also starting with a few words. She has been saying mama for a long time and now has added bye-bye, yum, and uh oh. James right now is also sick. So hopefully people start feeling better around here soon and Sierra and I DON'T get it!
