Simon and I had a great time in NY visiting Aunt EB and walking in the Parkinson's Walk. We raised over $1400 so a BIG thanks to everyone who donated!

Our Trip to MEXICO

For our 5 year anniversary last August James surprised me with a trip to MEXICO over the spring break to come. We loved our time there and the weather was absolutely perfect!

Sierra

We let Simon and Sierra have a "sleep over" in Simon's room one night. They had fun for quite awhile, we finally went upstairs to see what they were up to and here is what we found. Sierra got into her entire drawer of bows and must have decided to be BEAUTIFUL!

Parkinson's Walk

Alison - 9 months (sorry a little late)

Alison is doing well. She had her 9 month check up at the Dr.'s and was in the 90th percentile for weight at 21lbs. 11 oz. and the 80th percentile for height at 28.5 inches. She continues to eat well. Is very happy most of the time. She can say "dada" and "mama" and is just crawling.

Newport Acquarium

Simon's favorite part was petting the SHARKS

Sunday we took the kids to the acquarium and then drove the 7 hours home. We had a great time spending time together and it felt great to get away from our busy lives for a bit.

Long weekend vacation...

We went south for a few days. The kids and I left with my parent's Friday morning in the motorhome (much easier on the kids being able to move around, play, eat, potty whenever they needed to). James left later Friday afternoon in the minivan and met up with us near Kentucky. We went to the Creation Museum for the day on Saturday. It was great and the kids did wonderful!

Simon wanted to ice skate...

Simon got the idea in his head that he wanted to try ice skating so we were happy to accomodate. James and I took him out to eat and then ice skating. It was really fun to spend time with just him. He LOVED ice skating. The first few times around James and I held onto him or his helper but then he kept telling us "no thanks". He wanted to do it all himself. He really figured it out by the end and could build up some pretty good speed around the loop!

Sierra's 3 year appt.

Sierra went in for her 3 year check up. She weighed 24 pounds and was 36 inches tall. Both were around the 50th percentile. She is healthy and well.

2-1-10 Alison is 8 Months Old

These are the best pictures I got. All she wanted to do is grab the sticker and eat it which pretty much sums up her life. She is still eating very well...she LOVES baby food, bottles and rice cereal. She is also picking up and grabbing for everything she can get her hands on She loves to roll around to get wherever she wants and can go pretty far. She has her second bottom tooth now as well. She wears 12 month size clothes, size 4 diapers and is pretty smily and easy going most of the time.
