THANKSGIVING....

We spent Thanksgiving this year with James' mom. It was wonderful and we all had a great day. The sweetest part was what I'm sure will become a classic story about Sierra in our family. James' mom had the kids help her put up some Christmas decorations around the house. They worked the longest on setting up a manger scene. They talked about each piece they put out and got a great picture of Jesus' birth : ) In the end Sierra wanted to check out baby Jesus a little closer. James' mom got him down and let Sierra check him all out. She treated him just like all of her baby dolls at home. She spent a lot of time wrapping him up in his swaddling cloths and getting them all just right. And when she was about to put him tucked nicely away in the manger when she looked up at us and said "Mommy, where is Baby Jesus' FLUFFY?" LOVE IT! We then obviously had to find a little something for him to use as a fluffy. She was then satisfied that baby Jesus was all comfy and cozy and able to put him back in the manger scene : )

Aunt EB comes to visit

We surprised my parent's by bringin EB into town for a long weekend. It was a bit of a whirlwind but the kids (and EB) all had a LOT of fun!

Simon turned 4 on Saturday!

We had an extended family party for Simon on Saturday night.

I made a Crocodile/Aligator cupcake sculpture for Simon

We celebrated with our family on Friday night. We took the kids on a quick trip to the mall to ride the carousel (even though all they really wanted to do was ride the escalators : ) )...and then home for a dinner of Simon's choice (pizza bread) and presents.

We have been LOVING this warm weather pattern. I REALLY don't want to see it end.

Alison - 5 months

"CHUNKERBELLE" is doing well. Obviously she is always hungry : ) She was super hard to get a picture of this month...she wouldn't stop moving, or shut her mouth...which pretty much sums up what she is up to. She can hold onto things and everything goes directly to her mouth. She also is VERY ACTIVE on the ground. She can't quite roll over yet but is very close and is almost scooting around when she is on her tummy.
